OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200, was updated in 2024 to align with GHS Revision 7 and key elements of Revision 8. These updates improve consistency in hazard classification, enhance worker protections, and reinforce OSHA’s shift from the “Right to Know” to the “Right to Understand.” This course is fully updated to reflect the 2024 standard—including new requirements for labeling, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), small container labeling, and revised hazard classes such as desensitized explosives, flammable gases, and non-flammable aerosols.
